Heavy Fees for wrong diagnosis

Took Dog into Pamer & Duncan as it was being sick. Kept in over weekend for Tests & Observation! After undertaking various Xrays etc (all without our express consent) we were told there was nothing that could be done, and we were given a leaflet on Pet Cremation with a Bill for over �£750 - We took him home and treated him ourselves - that was 10 weeks ago, and he is now back to his old self. Would we ever take another pet to these Vets, or recommend that anyone else went there? Not a chance - but we do tell all our friends and acquaintances about our experience with Palmer & Duncan in the hope that we can stop other Pet Owners facing the same stress that we have been caused through their inabilty to be able to diagnose Gastroenteritis. We would be pleased to hear from anyone else who has had dealings with this practice
