I took the plunge and opened a shop here in Mirfield, just above Whitegates Estate Agents. I was excited and petrified all at once. Starting a business in a recession, good grief.

I expected a steady growth as people got to know who and where I am.......WRONG!!

Took off like a ballistic missile, I have so much work on with alterations/repairs and commissions - (made-to-measure) outfits that I am working 6 days a week, 9 hours a day to keep up!

But I LOVE IT!, especially now that I have my fancy dress dept open now.... called 'The Changing Room'....snazzy huh?

At this rate, I'll be taking someone on pretty soon.
