• Disgusted! My dog has never been the same!

  I don't think I can really say in words how this kennel is! The staff are unqualified on modern apprenticeships so are generally of a young immature age or they are youngsters working cash in hand! I know this as the lady who owns the kennel told me! My dog stayed in this kennel and come home a totally different dog! You could say he died in that kennel! I don't know what they did to him but he come home heavily underweight, and very very badly malnourished! It took me about a year to fix him physically Many steroids and visits to the vets! Different foods and exercise regimes but his mental state can't seem to be fixed! I met someone who had visited the kennel whilst my dog was there and they told me that my dog didn't have anywhere to sit as there was faeces all down his run! Oakenshaw didn't bother to clean it! I tried the to report this to the RSPCA but due to the laws in place they can't do anything! I have even bought my dog another dog as a playmate and although he has improved he spends most of his time just quiet and lifeless! Oakenshaw grange is the biggest regret of my life! Don't let it be yours! This kennel should be closed down! The owner also owned another kennel named marina kennel which was meant to be worse! I hear it's finally been closed down now! Can't imagine how many animals have been treated cruelly there!
