  first debt recovery are crooks supposedly run by ex police which they use to gain their trust, they took my fee in june 2011 then did very little and a few weeks later disappeared. There is an active proposal to strike off this company on companies house website. I believe they are now operating under a new name in the same area. There is a company registered on 07/06/2011 making the same claims and advertising on their website as ex police. Do your homework and register your complaint with the police and the office of fair trading, they are under investigation

• rip off first debt recovery

  dont use them, paid in july this year to recover a debt. They are collecting the debt but not passing on the pNo response to telephon or e mails.

• Don't even call them

  I employed FDR to recover just over £13000 of debt. Last week the receptionist hung up the phone on me because I wanted to speak to someone about my case and did not believe her when she told me there was absolutely nobody there who could do so. Today someone claiming to be the managing director shouted profanities and abuse down the phone at me when I simply asked what I had paid for previously and why I was being presented another bill. Employ them at your peril!
