  Just wanted to say that nurseryland is fantastic i bought a pram from them they were helpful by giving me demostrations but when i got home i relised the pram was too big for my car so i went back to the shop explained the problem and knowing that it was my fault for not trying it in the car i didn't think they would do anything but the sales assistants were very helpful and allow me to change to a smaller pram there was a difference in price but the lady told me the shop policy which was buy something else to make the difference up or there is a slight cancelation charge so i chose to buy other things since i was going to need them. to which i thought was very reasonable since it was my fault i bought a big pram. would highly recomend

• Excellent Service

  After many hours browsing the internet and searching for a pushchair we decided on an Icandy Apple as our ideal choice. We wanted to try it and see what it was like so we went to Nurseryland in Wakefield and the staff were extremely helpful and the best of all they price matched the price we had seen on the internet. Fantastic!

• Lovely Staff!

  I visited this store after being highly recommended by several people. I just thought I'd share my experience of shopping at Nurseryland Wakefield. When I decided to visit the store I was greated by smiling and welcoming face, they were not too intimidating but simply explained if I needed any help or demonstrations to give them a shout. The prices were all fantastic - better than many internet prices! When we ordered they were willing to tailer delivery and payment to suit our needs. Great shop

• First Class Service

  I can say from my own experience with this store that the level of customer service is first class. Myself and my partner visited there last weekend and as well as being overwhelmed by the choice of prams on display (there is no other shop in the area with so many), we were approached by a friendly member of staff who offered to show us the various models, this i found to be informative and also very helpful as until then it was all a blur! She asked us what our requirements would be and offered useful tips and demonstrations on several models, We did not order there and then but I certainly intend to go back as the advice and service was second to none, I would highly recommend a visit

• Unbelievably rude

  Just thought I'd check if anyone had the same customer experience as me, what a surprise.. Lol, well not funny really, just went in the aft looking for a £800 pushchair/outfit and after lookin at the price, I politely stated it's actually available £75 less, normally this is met with sales banter and "ok let's we what we can do" oh no, she imediatly stopped showing it, put it back on the plinth and walked off! • REFUSAL OF REFUND FOR DAMAGED PUSHCHAIR

  The manager and staff of this store were rude to my daughter after she requested a refund for a pushchair that was damaged when she opened the box, they refused to give a refund. I have taken the matter up with Trading Standards who have assured me my daughter is entitled to a full refund under the Sale of Goods Act 1979. We are pursuing this course and i intend to go to the Wakefield Express, so would anyone with anymore complaints or who has suffered at the hands of this store and in particular the staff and managers lack of customer care and policy, please email me with your complaints. I will be happy to pass them on to the Wakefield Express, please send your details to lhachiversace@googlemail.,com. I am disgusted at the way they have treat my daughter as i am reading how they have treat the people on this review. I intend to do something about it., THEY SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO GET AWAY WITH IT, SO PLEASE LETS ALL DO THIS TOGETHER. THANK YOU.

• excellent service

  I visited this shop in april and ordered a silver cross pram and matching car seat. The staff were more than happy to help me and were extremely friendly. So you can imagine my surprise when i saw these reviews when i had returned home. it filled me with no hope and i thought i had made a big mistake. i am especially shocked by the woman on here who says she was talked down to by these members of staff and they told her she couldnt afford anything, as i am only 19years old and they were brilliant with me they never doubted how much money i had. So anyway after reading reviews from these other customers i then called them and asked if i could order the pram in and pick up as soon as it came in as originally i had asked them to keep it till october for me, the woman on the phone said it wasnt a problem and it should be in in 4 weeks. i then called 2 weeks after just to check and was told it had arrived and i could pick it up so i got it sooner than even they had quoted. They even brung the boxes to my car for me. The pram and car seat are both great i have no complaints at all with the products they have sold me or their customer service. I would definatly go back and buy again from nurseyland.

• THE WORST ATTITUDE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

  i bought a pram from them about a month and a half ago and the brake wer faulty and would come off when on the bus leaving the pram rollin off and falling over! so after this experience i rang nursery land to say that i was going to bring the pram back for a rufund and she told me okay if i had receipt which i did so i trailed all the way ther and when i got ther she refused to give me a refund was extremly rude and called me a liar when i sed that she sed on the fone i could have refund if i had the reciept! the women who owns the shop who served me is an absolute disgrace with the worst attitude ever and the shop should be shut down. if anybody is thinking of buyin a pram from ther i wouldnt bother. buy it from somewhere else that have a good enough store policy as this shop has one hell of a poor one!!!!!!

• Thieving arrogant rude *****

  After paying a deposit for a pram that we were told would take 4 weeks, we are now on week 10 and still no sign. I rang the manger/owner to be talked at like a child whilst she shouted abuse at me, so when I asked for a refund of the deposit paid I was told "that's not going to happen". I threatend legal action against the store to have this horrible women just say "what ever", I am pursuing this legal action and I have also got a local reporter visiting me to take this story up too. Avoid like the plague from what I now understand they seem to make their money from taking deposits of people with no intention of delivering any goods or giving the money back.

• totally disgusting

  im due my 4th baby this year and went to look in the store for ideas as i need a twin buggy with having a 2yr old. not being smartly dressed or looking like i didnt have money the assistent shot over to me and bluntly said " i wouldnt recomend shopping here for a pram as i can see that you couldnt afford even the cheapest here. upset and very hurt by her comments i couldnt even answer her back so i left. i will not be shopping there for my baby in this lifetime. their attitude towards customers is absolutly disgusting. how they are still serving to the public is shocking. i wonder if they would put up with being treat like this when ever they shop around. mmmm i wouldnt think so....
