Codes of Practice

From the 6th of April 2007 all landlords are required to protect tenant's bonds by using a government backed scheme this is a mandatory requirement otherwise they will face financial consequences. Shakoor & Co properties is registered with the deposit protection scheme (DPS) we are also registered with residential landlords association (RLA).
The gas safety regulations 1994 ensures that the maintenance of appliances must be carried out at regular points throughout every year, we can complete this with all managed properties.
All furniture left within a property must comply with fire and furnishing (fire) (safety) Regulations 1988 and the fire and furnishings (fire) (safety) (amendment) Regulations 1993.
Electricity- We recommend that electric point should be checked and kept up to date for personal safety.
