WYMAC is commited to giving its students the best facilities available. In October of 2009 WYMAC moved to larger premises, please visit us at any time to view the facilities available or check out our pictures in the gallery.

We offer training in a variety of disciplines, including Karate, Kickboxing, Aikido, and mixed martial arts for ages 4 to 65.In addition to this, WYMAC is proud to provide courses in pre-military training, circuit training, personal training and self-defence classes (including women-only classes).

Our classes are designed to do more than get you in the best physical condition of your life; the study of martial arts has proven to help its students cultivate their minds and enhance spirituality to the highest level.

About Us

Based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, WYMAC was originally opened by Team England member Mark Worth in March 2009. The College was originally open for three days a week, but this increased to six due to a rapidly expanding base membership, rising from 10 to over 80 members. This increase meant that only seven months after opening, WYMAC had to relocate to its current much larger premises.

WYMAC’s courses and facilities are said to be amongst the very best in the region and the centre prides itself on providing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all ages and levels of experience.
